On June 10, 2023, Thai Airways and Eva Air planes collided on a taxiway at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan. The incident led to the closure of one runway from about 11 a.m. The collision damaged the Thai airplane’s winglet, causing it to be unable to operate the flight. The Airbus A330 carried 250 passengers and 14 crew members, and no injuries occurred during the incident. Public broadcaster NHK reported the incident, and Japan’s transport ministry is investigating the incident. Eva Airways did not comment immediately.
