Australia has launched a new social media platform called Gan Jing World, which focuses on promoting clean, safe and traditional content. Gan Jing World aims to function as a clean digital “ecosystem” where users can access diversified and well-balanced content free from violent, erotic, criminal and harmful content. The platform aims to spread traditional values and divine culture in daily life through technology and empower people. CEO James Qiu says Gan Jing World focuses on enriching people’s lives with useful and pure content, compared to other platforms that mainly seek to generate clicks. The platform was created in New York by Chinese dissidents who fled communist China and is non-religious and non-partisan. Australians can access the platform to promote mental wellbeing, as it offers valuable resources to parents, educators, children and adults. At the Rotatory International Conference in Melbourne, a professional philanthropy consultant named Dr. Glenda Miro Antonio endorsed the platform for its ability to curate and share global content on humanitarian causes. Rotary International is a non-political and non-religious organisation that advances goodwill, peace and service around the world. Gan Jing World’s promotion at the event aligns with Rotary’s goal of enhancing health, peace and understanding, making it relevant and highly significant, according to Nick Janicki, the platform’s director of media relations.
