Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s return to Canada from the G20 summit in India has been delayed due to problems with his plane. The Prime Minister’s Office was informed about the issue as Trudeau’s delegation was leaving for the airport. It was reported by the Canadian Armed Forces that the plane scheduled to carry the prime minister home was experiencing technical difficulties.
According to a message from the office to reporters, the issues with the plane cannot be resolved immediately, which means that the Canadian delegation will have to stay in India until alternative travel arrangements are made. Trudeau had arrived at the G20 summit in New Delhi early on Saturday, marking the final part of his trip to the Indo-Pacific region. Originally, he was supposed to return to Ottawa on Monday.
