A 15-year-old was apprehended for allegedly discharging a firearm at Atlantis Beach Baptist College’s car park in Perth’s northern suburbs.
According to West Australian police, the incident occurred at roughly 11:50 a.m. on Wednesday.
“We have no reports of anyone being harmed at this moment,” stated Inspector Geoff DeSanges as the event unfolded.
“I’d like to assure everyone that there are considerable police resources on the premises.”
During the event, the school was secured, and the police have since stated that there is no additional risk to the public.
All of the school’s staff and students have been accounted for.
Investigations are still ongoing.
