Tulsi Gabbard, Jimmy Dore, Ron Paul urge end to Ukraine conflict.

De Koken added that he was “happy to have the opportunity to talk to people about the truth.” He noted that the U.S. is culpable in the war, saying that “there is no doubt that the U.S. is to blame.” On Sunday, the People’s Party and the Libertarian Party organized a joint rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington to protest the ongoing war in Ukraine. The event, dubbed “Rage Against the War Machine,” drew a diverse crowd of socialists, anarchists, conservatives, moderates, and independents who came together to voice support for a peaceful solution to the conflict. Speakers at the rally, which included former U.S. presidential candidates, Iraq war veterans, and a comedian, emphasized the importance of unity. They argued that the Biden administration’s pre-invasion escalations and ongoing support for Ukraine have deterred the involved parties from entering into peace negotiations. Several speakers warned of the consequences of a potential nuclear conflict, stressing that world war three cannot be won. Although some protesters carried the Russian flag, they clarified that they were not pro-Putin but rather pro-Russian people. The rally was an effort to raise awareness about the conflict and to call on the Biden administration to pursue a diplomatic solution.
