Psychologist and bestselling author Jordan Peterson has claimed that the regulatory body for psychologists in Ontario is delaying proceedings in its case against him, despite missing its own deadline. Peterson’s legal team have written to the College of Psychologists of Ontario insisting on disciplinary progress, and Peterson has also launched a constitutional challenge. The college is asking Peterson to undertake social media communication retraining to improve “professionalism in public statements,” which he has refused to do. The complaints were submitted by people who have not been his clients, and his case is being considered under the professional code.
