Over 330,000 Honda vehicles recalled over faulty mirrors. 1

Honda is set to recall over 330,000 vehicles due to issues with the heating pads positioned behind both side-view mirrors. The defect results from improper bonding, increasing the risk of the mirror glass falling out and raising the possibility of accidents. The vehicles affected include the 2020-2022 Odyssey, 2020-2022 Passport, 2020-2021 Pilot, and 2020-2021 Ridgeline. As a result, these vehicles fail to comply with necessary rear visibility requirements. Honda will replace the side-view mirrors free of charge for impacted vehicles, with notification letters to be sent to owners on May 8. Owners can contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236.
