Montreal police reported a fatal stabbing incident in the Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension borough today. A 911 call was made at 1:30 p.m. regarding an armed assault. Upon arrival, officers found a 23-year-old man with stab wounds to his upper body and a 26-year-old woman was arrested at the scene. Further investigation led officers to the body of a 60-year-old woman in a nearby apartment. The cause of death is still unknown and major-crimes detectives and forensic teams have been dispatched to the building to investigate the matter. The 23-year-old man is in hospital but his life is not in danger.
