Israeli forces killed three Palestinian militants in the occupied West Bank on Sunday. The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, an armed group linked to Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah party, claimed responsibility for the men who were killed. The Palestinian Health Ministry named the dead as Jihad Mohammed al-Shami, Uday Othman al-Shami, and Mohammed Raed Dabeek. The military seized three M16 rifles from the militants and arrested one gunman who turned himself in. Since the start of 2023, 80 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank, where Israel has increased arrest raids. Palestinian attacks against Israelis have killed 14 people this year. On 12 March, Israeli soldiers operated in the village of Sarra near Nablus.
