House approves bill to hold CCP accountable for forced organ harvesting. 1

Lawmakers from both parties in the United States Congress have united in disgust at the Chinese Communist Party’s forced organ harvesting, which they have described as “murderous,” “grotesque,” “immoral,” and “barbaric.” A bill intended to end the atrocities has passed the House by a vote of 413-2, and members of Congress have pledged to hold the Chinese regime accountable. The Stop Forced Organ Harvesting Act is the first of its kind in the United States to combat this bloody practice using legislative tools. The London-based China Tribunal found detained Falun Gong practitioners to be the primary victim group for forced organ harvesting. Other targeted groups include Uyghurs in Xinjiang concentration camps, Tibetans, and House Christians, according to the tribunal. The legislation will impose fines and imprisonment on offenders, as well as sanctions on those who “fund, sponsor, or facilitate” the abuse.
