Commissioner Paul Rouleau has stated that the federal government was justified in utilizing the Emergencies Act to address convoy protests scheduled for February 2022. An inquiry was launched in accordance with the law to evaluate the government’s use of the act, and Rouleau’s report on the commission’s findings was tabled in Parliament on February 17th.
