Flynn comments on FBI whistleblower hearing, Durham report, and Ukraine aid confusion. 1

Michael Flynn, retired U.S. Army Gen., believes that systemic corruption within the highest levels of the United States government needs to be addressed following recent allegations of politicization in the FBI, the DOJ, and the intelligence community. John Durham’s report on the origins of the FBI investigation into collusion between Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and the Russian government concluded that neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community had evidence of collusion, and detailed a meeting in which Brennan briefed those present on an effort by Clinton’s campaign to undermine Trump. Flynn is skeptical of the FBI’s claim to have addressed the issues raised by Durham’s investigation, citing ongoing retaliation against whistleblowers and indications that some FBI officials planned to infiltrate Catholic churches to root out “radical-traditionalist Catholic” ideology. Following the Pentagon’s $3 billion accounting error in overestimating the value of weapons and equipment supplied to Ukraine, Flynn contended that the department has a consistent problem with overestimating spending.
