The FBI is offering a $20,000 reward for any information that leads to finding Maria del Carmen Lopez, an American woman believed to have been kidnapped in Mexico. According to the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, Lopez was taken from her home in Pueblo Nuevo, Colima, back in February. Lopez is described as a 63-year-old Hispanic female with blonde hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs around 160 pounds, and has permanent eyeliner. Lopez has seven children, some of whom reside in southern California where she often visits. Her family believes the crime was opportunistic, and she had no criminal connections or enemies. The FBI is collaborating with Mexican law enforcement agencies to investigate her disappearance. Anyone with relevant information should contact their nearest American Embassy or Consulate or their local FBI office.
